Who it is for

GLOWie is designed for children aged 3 and up. PENDING: confirm the age grading printed on the retail box. The age on this page must match the age on the packaging.

Materials

The board is acrylic. PENDING: obtain the CPSIA third-party test report from a CPSC-accepted laboratory, plus the Children's Product Certificate. A supplier stating that components are “non-toxic” is a marketing claim, not a certification, and is not sufficient for sale in the United States.

Power and batteries

PENDING — this is the most important open item. The supplier specification does not state how the board is powered, and the packing list contains no cable and no batteries.

• If batteries are required and not included, that must be stated plainly on the product page and the packaging.
• If a coin or button cell is used, Reese's Law applies: specific warning labels and secure battery-compartment requirements are federally mandated.
• If the board is mains or USB powered, portability claims must be removed from all marketing copy.

Small parts

PENDING: confirm whether a small-parts choking warning is required and printed on the box.

Care and supervision

Wipe the board with the included cloth. Do not submerge it in water. Adult supervision is recommended for first use.
